We would love to meet your new addition to the family for a FREE veterinary health check |
|
FREE Veterinary health Checks Immediately after picking up your puppy or kitten, we recommend you bring them directly to one of our surgeries for our vets to give them a FREE thorough Health Check before taking them home.
During your FREE Heath check the vet will examine your new pet, looking for a number of conditions. In particular, we will check for hernias and obvious genetic defects that may be particular to that breed.
The examination also involves checking
You will be also given dedicated time to discuss and deal with a number of issues. This is usually with a Veterinary Nurse who is trained to provide preventative healthcare advice. During this time you will be given help to tailor a suitable lifestyle plan that includes, nutritional advice, worming and flea treatments, microchipping, socialisation, toilet training, vaccinations and emergency arrangements.
After their health check with the veterinary surgeon your pet if under 1 year of age, is eligible for Four weeks FREE PET INSURANCE. This insurance has the benefits of being activated immediately as the Vet can sign a heath declaration. Without this health check and the vet's signature, new insurance for your pet will not be fully activated for at least two weeks, in which time your pet could develop an illness that is not covered. There is no obligation to take this FREE insurance nor continue it after the 4 weeks has passed. Here at Medivet we so strongly believe in providing the best, that we want to help you and your pet get started on the right foot. For full details of activating this insurance and the full terms and conditions for your individual pet's policy please speak to your veterinary team.
