Facilities and services
Each of the three clinics is fully equipped and computerised, providing excellent facilities for veterinary care, diagnosis and treatment.
In-Patient accommodation
Each clinic has a ward to provide accommodation in an environment which is safe, clean and comfortable for pets that are staying with us. Individual needs can always be catered for.
Diagnostics
Each site has its own laboratory where a wide range of tests are carried out, including blood haematology and biochemistry, urine analysis, skin microscopy and ear cytology. In addition each site has x-ray equipment, ECG (electrocardiogram), doppler blood pressure monitoring equipment and access to an ultrasound scanner.
Treatments
With the availability of excellent equipment and the presence of experienced and highly motivated veterinary surgeons we are in a position to be able to diagnose and treat the majority of medical and surgical conditions that are presented.
Within our team are vets with particular interests in Cardiology, Dentistry, Ultrasonography, Radiography, Orthopaedic and Soft Tissue Surgery. Recently a vet has joined us who is developing her interest in acupuncture and holistic treatments.

Surgery
A wide range of surgery is undertaken within the practice from routine neutering to complex orthopaedic or soft tissue surgery.
Each of the three clinics has two theatre suites – one a ‘clean theatre’ where an extremely high standard of cleanliness and sterility is maintained and surgical teams wear surgical clothing and footwear. The other theatre is used for preparing animals to enter the clean theatre and for minor operations and procedures, such as dentistry.
Dentistry
We have the equipment and skills to practice veterinary dentistry to a very high standard.
- Treatment of broken or displaced teeth.
- Extraction of retained deciduous (baby) teeth.
- Extraction of damaged, diseased or painful teeth.
- Treatment of malocclusion (teeth in the wrong position).
- Removal of tartar and polishing teeth.
- Repair of jaw fractures.

Acupuncture
We can now offer acupuncture to treat a whole range of conditions. Pain is the most common indication for acupuncture including; pain associated with arthritis, but also muscle strains, pain secondary to disc disease and bony changes of the spine. Other kinds of pain may also respond.
