Soaring slug and snail populations pose threat to local dogs

Soggy weather conditions have again provided an ideal environment for a huge increase in the UK’s populations of slugs and snails, and this could pose a serious risk to dogs that accidentally or habitually eat these slippery pests.

Borrajo's veterinary surgeons, John Borrajo, warns owners to be on the look out for signs that their dog has, or may be prone to picking up a lungworm infection.

What to do now Winter is on it's way.

As we have all noticed the nights are drawing in and winter is definitely on its way. As the nights get darker we do start to see an increase in fireworks noise and now is a good time to try and do something about the problem.

Acupuncture, puppy parties and weight loss!

We are sure you will all be very interested to know that our acupuncture clinics are proving to be a great success. Eve has seen a number of patients both dogs and cats and it had made a huge difference to these animals. Owners are noticing much improved mobility and much happier dispositions which is fantastic news and some conditions have even been completely cured!

New website launched

As you can see our new website is now finished!

Over the last few months we have been putting this new site together and are very pleased with how it has turned out. As well as information about each of the clinics there is also a lot of general information about pet care, diet and other useful topics.
