Gillian - Vet

I qualified from Cambridge in 1986 and worked predominantly in small animal practice in Derbyshire for ten years before joining Borrajo's in 1996. My particular interests are dentistry & oral surgery and general soft tissue surgery.

Outside work I am often found on horseback, training and competing my Andalusian mare & Connemara ponies in dressage and endurance.

Eve - Vet

Eve Tarleton trained as a Veterinarian at the University of Sydney, Australia. After graduating in 2001 she worked in a mixed practice in the Adelaide Hills for a year. She then made the journey to England where she intended to travel and work as a small animal locum for a year. Thanks to meeting her husband Piers, she is still here 6 years later! Eve worked in Market Harborough for 3 years before joining us a year ago.

Her special interests are Veterinary Internal Medicine and Acupuncture for animals.

She has 2 dogs Maximus and Kiri who live in Australia with her parents on their farm and 3 English cats, Diesel, Itchy and Scratchy.

Grainne - Head Nurse

I am Grainne Freeman and I am the head nurse at our Oadby Surgery. I have been with Borrajo's for five years and have a real interest in feline medicine and the care of critical and elderly patients. I am also mad about my two very naughty cats!

I was previously a wine merchant and wine is still one of my passions along with scuba diving, although not at the same time!
