Soaring slug and snail populations pose threat to local dogs

Soggy weather conditions have again provided an ideal environment for a huge increase in the UK’s populations of slugs and snails, and this could pose a serious risk to dogs that accidentally or habitually eat these slippery pests.

Borrajo's veterinary surgeons, John Borrajo, warns owners to be on the look out for signs that their dog has, or may be prone to picking up a lungworm infection.

Good luck Katy

We recently said goodbye to Katy Utecht, one of our nurses at Uppingham Road, who is off to university to study physiotherapy. Katy worked with us for 4 years and was a valued member of our team who will be missed by staff and clients. We would like to wish Katy luck with her studies and future career.

New website launched

As you can see our new website is now finished!

Over the last few months we have been putting this new site together and are very pleased with how it has turned out. As well as information about each of the clinics there is also a lot of general information about pet care, diet and other useful topics.

The site will be continually updated with new information building up a valuable source of information for all of our customers.
